From the players brought in the summer, the balance after 3-4 months is decent, not great.

Great:
Lewa
Kounde

Good:
Christensen

Undecided:
Raphinha
Alonso

Bad:
Kessie

Total shit:
Bellerin

From the kids, Balde looks like he is the fullback we need. Progressing nicely.

End of the day, we are not conceding any more or less than we were with Araujo and Kounde.

Araujo and Kounde were both there for Bayern 1st leg when we lost 2-0 to a free header and Sane sprinting through our whole defense. Kounde was there when we got walked by Bayern 3-0 in the return.

I'm not totally sure what are the reasons for this and would have to watch more closely but the evidence says their presence is not that important. Of course, consistently playing Kounde at RB when he is a CB doesn't help and means he'll contribute less.

Well, poor Kounde had Bellerin as his wingman vs Bayern. That's the main reason since Bellerin basically made Bayern's two goals.

Bellerin, Garcia have insane fuck up potential.

Our best CB pair is Kounde - Christensen probably until Araujo gets better. As for fullbacks, Alba and Balde are the best we have. Balde looks like one of those fullbacks who is good on both flanks.

Kounde on RB is a waste. Araujo on RB is bad also, unless used for 1 vs 1 defending vs Mbappe/Vinicius.

He is total clown who can't defend to save his life.

He is the best passer in our squad by a country mile, and we need that profile at the back.
He is also faster than all other defenders bar Araujo and Kounde.

He makes occasional blunders, true, but he is getting better at it. This is how he compares with himself last season:

No reason to call him clown

Says more about how bad LL sides are than about how good our D is

This is it.

How many goals have we conceded in Europe under Xavi? That stat is more important.
La liga is garbage, it's embarassing. Even the classico was low quality.
When Xavi gets the team competing in Europe, than we'll talk. Problem is Xavi, Laporta and other Muppets still think La Liga 8s a big deal. There isn't one world class manager in La Liga at the moment.

La Liga is still a top league. Last CL season 50% of the semifinalists and the winners were from La Liga.

Barca are in rebuild and Atletico are going through bad times now, but still... let's not overreact. Both will be back soon.

Still, the rest of the league is trailing hard. Sevilla is a mess this season. Valencia or Villareal are also poor.

In the past you used to see some bright talents or good South Americans playing outside of the big three. Now there is nothing and the big three are also not that great.

Big truth this.
All WC managers are in EPL or in Bundesliga atm, and a couple are out of job.
It's embarrassing for LL

PS: Watch now all the RM simps screaming that grandpa Carlo is a WC manager

A super league is needed for Barcelona's long term future.

The EPL has been increasing its financial gap over the other leagues this past decade. Enormous media rights deals and sponsorships.

Many fans coped with this by saying Premier League teams are just going to waste all that money by overpaying for players. That's still true but PL teams are starting to get better value for their spending.

Every year without the Super League increases the likelihood of top PL teams saying they don't need to join the Super League.

Very true. Those said teams cannot compete financially and they are now losing players to midtable prem teams.

Look at some of the Valencia/Sevilla sides from previous years that were finishing 4th and 5th, they were stacked with great internationals.
