Osimhen is likely 4-5 times more expensive operation than Lewa. He's likely the hottest player that can move these days, him and Leao.

You have no ideas of the numbers in slightest.

Osihmen will be more this summer than would have been last... yes.

Leao on about 10m a season at Milan on new contract... you think he would have gone for more than 100m and want more to sign for Barca? Nonsense.

Barca could have spent 200m on attacking players in the two transfer windows Xavi had last year.

Clubs dont do that year after year.

Doesn't matter. Any 150m deal is gonna draw a fat salary. Any club that is rich enough to splash a big, fat transfer fee, has to also splash on similarly expensive salary for the player in question. Unless that player has the most idiotic agent in history.

No one is mentioning a 150m player....

These players will at times take the lower contract to move to better club partcularly if young and can earn more by being a Barca player and more in future.

Anyway beyond the point as it shows how much Lewa is costing on the books.. decrease it to 90 on 12m a year or 80 on 14m a year. All same point.

Lewa is the same cost as a 100m player on 10m a week. Simples.

For anyone to think Napoli with their history would sell a player for 80m which is about what they paid him for, requires a suspension of reality.

Lol, these players aren't some youngsters that are gonna be in awe of Barca. They are 2 of the most highly valued transfer targets in the world.

Leao just renewed for around 10m a season for Milan and again this was last summer when money spent and names chosen by you.

Also there are plenty other names..

Haaland and Nunez around same cost on books as Lewa last summer.

Fact remains the cost of Lewa on books is equivilant of 100m player on 10m a week or 80 on 14m etc.

Well, there has been space to get these players, clearly, when hundreds of millions were spent in fee/wages for Raphinha, Ferran, Kounde, Kessie...

Also can add... that last summer teams could sign players for longer than 5 years.

So more could be given than 10m a year for 100m player in reality around another 3/4m more in salary etc.

One of them. But the squad needed more positions filled than just splash most of our funds on one mega-signing. You usually do that when:

a) you are very rich and can pump 400-450m over 2-3 summers
b) you already have a top quality squad needing just one finishing elite touch

Neither of wich is our case. Bayern for example are a great case of splashing 150m on Osimhen. Their squad is quality on every spot almost except no9. So is United who are among the richest 2-3 clubs out there in spending.

No... the fee spent on Lewa alone would be same cost on books as 100m player on 13/14m a season if needed. Or 90m player on more etc.

Cost on books more than Nunez to Liverpool and about same as Haaland to City.. two most sought after strikers last summer.

That would not have impacted other positions although the money spend on those could have been on better areas also

That would be Bayern.. who you claim are behind AC Milan this season... same Bayern.

Yes, because they have been poorly managed, see them sacking their manager and having huge scandals in their team lol.

Nothing to do with their squad.

But you still think squad = team, and team value = titles at a given time.

You are way too simplistic in your argumentation. Child like almost. Either you think like that, or you make these sily arguments because you love to argue about everything all the time.

Nope I never said squad = team.

Just your terrible logic that says Real better than Barca this season if win nothing and logic applies to saying Chelsea better than Man Utd etc this season or Chelsea better than Brighton.

You just cry all season about how much better Man Utd, Spurs are than Barcelona let alone Real Madrid and then from there much like Messi it is mental gymanstics to claim what really meant.

Usual.

Yes, because by your logic, Liverpool are 8th best team in England this season just becasue they finish on this position. In reality, they are one of the top 3-4 teams in England and have had a bad season.

This season if they finish that low then yes the others ahead of them have been better.

Absolutely.

All very straightforward.

Why are Milan better than Bayern this season?......

Arguing with yourself as usual.
