We just need a home win vs Porto and we're done and dusted at the top. Only Shakhtar winning both their remaining games and us losing to Antwerp would make us finish second in that case which is very unlikely.

Draw vs Porto and win vs Antwerp also gives us first spot.

Chances are still very good. In reality we should win both our remaining games.

Pirlo is currently 16th in Serie B with Sampdoria.

Does anyone think Xavi would have a similar descent if he foraged into any club in Europe outside of Barca?

Pirlo is one of the worst coaches in the world, guy was lucky Ronaldo and Chiesa kept the title chances alive until the end of the season

It surprise me a lot that genius midfield players are so bad at coaching, only Xabi has shown coaching skills so far

It's Bologna.

But he is doing really well, I've followed him since his work at Spezia, really interesting ideas and strong man management principles.

Ah yes, Bologna.

Keep this up and can see PSG lining him up in the future. Seems to have more attachment to them than us even if he was our youth product.

As you say, seems to have more managerial acumen to him than Herb.

But we should definitely keep an eye on his evolution seeing as he has potential, while we admittedly career Barcelona historical ties tunnel vision.

This forum... :rofl1:

Snubbing a tier 1 club legend and champion of Spain manager for some flavor of the month types that haven't won diddly squat in their manager career so far.

Managing an elite club that expects big things in tough leagues facing hard competition at the top is totally different bussiness, as Eric Ten Hag found out.

It's a tough job even with many hundreds of millions to spend, let alone having to sign old payers or rejects like Barca have been forced to do last summer.

Good comedy, polyethylene fans. Keep at it.

Nah, just looking at future options. Xavi is clearly going to burn out sooner rather than later. What's the longest reigning manager at this club in the past decades. 3-3.5 seasons?

Catalan press is complicit with their pampering and denial.

"The national team break should be therapeutic so that the air can flow and, upon returning, start from scratch with the aim of recovering the good feelings."

There were also quotes that Gundogan "explained himself" to the group because of his comments. And that he, as newcomer, doesn't understand the Catalan culture.

The hilarious thing about this international break reset talk is that we just had an international break 5 games ago

Mentality shattered in 450 minutes. Kind of impressive actually.
