yeah dude but thats normal, you dont want to fire a club legend and a top5 midfield player of all time.... Normally Pirlo should have been fired during the season but they had the same issue and they waited until the end of the season

This is why maybe hiring club legends fresh from retirement, before they have proven anything at other clubs, is not really a good idea.

Dont agree he would be out of running for teams in Italy etc.

Would think if both left today he would have better job offers than Xavi but that can change over time.

Both could leave and do well elsehere though.

If ETH stepped back a size in job and did well 'top' jobs be there again as an option. Same with Xavi if Barca win again and do well in Europe while playing way top teams want he would have better chance.

Definitely true. That's one of the reasons why Xavi was hired. He brought silence. Stability to the team. There was too much turmoil.

Especially considering he also had better results as a manager. Xavi the manager has won a big league title. ETH hasn't.

Well yes that is the point.. his status as Barca legend as a player shields him from a lot of the criticism thrown at coaches at Barca.

Always been said he doesnt have same pressures yet he acts like he does.

Of course, being a legendary player has benefits compared to being an absolute nobody. It's completely logical.
