it's really hard to find a good solution in the middle of the season. After Valverde, Koeman, Setien and now Xavi we can't afford to make another mistake or hire another unexperienced coach. Next manager has to be a world class or we are doomed.

true, perez must be the luckiest guy in the world, who would have thought your midfield player can score like a top striker :(

Perez has always been lucky, remember when he sacked Ancelotti in 2015, already a questionable decision, and then hired Benitez, who obviously was never going to work out here?

Well, everyone has forgotten about that now, since Zidane came in and salvaged the situation, but people were quite mad at him at the time.

That is not to say Perez is a bad president, always said he is good at handling the economic situation of the club, but a footballing genius he is not, things are better when he doesn't get too involved in that aspect.

I can't comprehend how can anyone defend Xavi anymore? We for sure have enough depth to be able to play well and cwin against Rayo, Shahktar, Granada or Mallorca. Furthermore, no one is expecting miracles from him but we are playing unwatchable football and can't create chances even against significantly weaker teams. In addition to that all players look mentally dead. The only thing that's keeping him alive is his name.

If you'd sack the manager at the first sign of trouble after winning the league just months ago... jesus... can't argue with these types of fans. Fickle as shit.

Relax, we could have had easily 6 more points if referees were somewhat competent. The football sucks, but the results are still on Xavis side.

Next 3 games should give clarity.

2 out of the next 3, Atletico game means nothing, you guys just have their number regardless of form.

Yeah the legendary 2015 time, i wondered also why Perez fired Carlo, Real played really well in 14/15 but was unlucky that Modric got injured and Barca was in terrific form
true, economic wise he is a genius but in terms of football meh

Missed that part but you can't seriously say it's the same as Madrid's. Look at their bench in the Clasico. They put in Camavinga and Modric from the bench lol.

Madrid's team is superior to ours in every position almost, bar De Jong and Araujo probably. I'd struggle to find a 3rd Barca player that would start in their team.
Lewandowski over Joselu or...

Firs signs? We don't have a playing system, we never had it under Xavi. To be clear I would't suck him now but in the end of season if we don't improve and I don't think we will.

During his first season entire tactics were based on Dembele. Last season our defense and Mats were sole reason we won La Liga. We were horrible in Europe during his first two seasons here and this year we barely survived in Porto.

He doesn't have a clue how to create chances against teams that defend deep. Additionally, he insisted on 34y old Lewa and now he doesn't know how to use him. He also wanted Raphinha and Ferran and now none of those two is good enough. That's 160 mil bro plus wages! So whose fault is that? His entire attacking tactics are currently based on Felix and 16y old Yamal and their 1 on 1 ability.

He had enough time to create a system of play and to improve young players. However, no one has improved significantly under him.

No point. Typical revisionalism.

Ask why they put on Modric or Camavinga while we didn't even bother to select in the squad Pedri or Frenkie.

Or that we had a bench with three more youth team players but only because Madrid named 3 less subs than us.
Its just interesting that other Barca coaches who dealt with similarly difficult situations weren't given this gigantic leash by the same people.
