He is, he is bringing them in very slow as they have competitions they are taking part in and they are succeeding. No point of disturbing the harmony of the national team especially that it very hard to balance it and its entirely based on merit.

All the younger players who we all want to see in the national team are earning it by gaining winning mentality and through their clubs.

So not true. In fact Xavi is maybe even more important to us than in 08/09. Today he just isn't giving assists anymore. He plays Dani, Messi etc open so they can give that last pass. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE XAVI'S INFLUENCE!

I don't. I will stay with my mind. It's Messi factor. The other reason is our rivals know our game much better now, so they have better know-hot to stop our midfield, and Xavi usually plays way deeper than in 08/09. I doesn't mean Xavi doesn't have it anymore. Not at all! It's just he has much tougher task now, and - in fact - he doesn't need to play last pass so often as we have Messi flooding the midfield. It is Messi factor, but it's not taking anything away from Xavi.

Max was essential in 09/10

I don't think the fact that Messi and Alves weren't playing alongside Xavi is the reason why they weren't at their best with their national teams.
Factors such as having idiots for coaches, playing with teams that have very poor tactical structure, and playing alongside players that rarely ever played together had much more effect than just Xavi not being there...

Spain don't suffer any of the above disadvantages...

Xavi is awesome and all, but not everything that goes wrong when he's not there is attributed to his absence...
