Rakitic is our best CM. If you can't see that then you must have got in a time machine back a couple of years. Peak Xavi is one of the all time great midfielders but this is not peak Xavi.

He is 35, play him continuously and you will see a really tired lethargic xavi...
And just to add the guy cant defend at all, play him in big games and we will see our midfield constantly overrun by whoever has legs.

Xavi is 35. he doesn't have the legs to play a full match at top level anymore. He's much more useful as a super sub these days. When he's fresh, he's still very good.
