Here

It's about Messigician's previous post but it still concerns the 5M release clause.

I said it previously, guys, provide legitamate links. Not some random Twitter account in brackets.

On the subject - if true the sheikh can kiss ass. This "hospitality" bullshit in my view is like some ransom hostage situation. Also imagine the demotivation Xavi would have after this episode, the dream slipping away because of some backwards mentality.

A group of Al Sadd players went to Xavi to celebrate the first goal against Al Duhail in the match currently being played.
He’s coming, folks!

Well Laporta is the one to blame if this falls apart. He should have gone there in order to show some respect. It was clear that Sheik wanted to talk with him.

President of FC Barcelona
Say what you want about the sheikhs and what they are and what not, but it's reasonable for them to expect the club president to be the one taking part in the actual negotiations here.

It's like one CEO to another in a business transaction. Don't know why Laporta don't want to do it. Not like he had any issues taking money from shady Uzbek investors who also take a part in various human rights violations...during his last stint as club president.

So def not a morality thing here.
