I really don't agree that Zidane was more talented. Zidane was more energetic, direct and he was much more better shooter, but Xavi's ball control and passes are better than Zidane's.

france's defence took them to a world cup final. 100% against paraguay and croatia when their defenders scored all the goals (and the other game was a 0-0 they won on penalties).

I've always felt when Xavi plays well, the rest of the team does also. Be it with Spain or with Barca.
