One of the most important league wins since the 2005 title win in first Laporta tenure. Easily.

Normally, a club in our situation should not win a league title so soon. But we are going to, and it's a mix of good management, luck, La Masia delivering some solid talents, levers last summer, and Madrid not being as good in the league as a club of their quality should be.

Still, with our performance in the league this season, not much Madrid could do better other than maybe shorten the gap from 13 points to 5-6. It's an incredible league season by us. It's quite incredible that we conceded 2 goals on Camp Nou the whole season, one was a stupid pen done by Alonso vs Espanyol and one was an own goal by Araujo in the Clasico.

INIESTAGOAT is laughable. He is either in drugs or outright insane. If Man Utd are a bunch of bums, what are we? We got beat over 2 legs and they deserved to win.
Inter had injuries too and they still managed a draw and win against us
This league win is covering up alot of holes us rational fans can see.
Xavi has
Horrible tactics
Horrible in-game management. Always reacts too late
Too much love for his amigos. If he wants to keep them, they should be on the bench
No real experience. Came straight from Qatar
Stubborn attitude and always making excuses

Nah Barca have as good a squad as Real and in La Liga the teams are that poor Barca should keep pace with Real.

Not even close to one of the top or most impressive league wins since 2005 but important none the less.

This idea Barca could not win for years was miles off.

They should be challenging for league even with no transfers last summer let alone stronger squad.

If Madrid had shortened the gap to 5-6 points at the moment it is most likely they end up winning it with the injuries and 'slump' in form we have recently.
At this point last season they had 66 points, 7 more than their current of 59, so their league performance has definitely been worse. Very glad to have tied up the league already as probably we are going to drop most of our points in this 2nd part of the season.

With a extremely intense and high pressing system like Barca has, it was natural and foreseeable that we would start to slow down in the 2nd half of the season, with injuries and fatigue stacking up, but they shit their pants when we took a lead and couldn't keep the pressure on us.

I don't know if it's the best, to be the best we have to be playing better football.

But it definitely the most important since the rijkaard title club is in a even worst situation now & we haven't won anything in years.

The facts are we went 3 years without winning with Messi & Suarez scoring 40+ goals in the league, while spending $500m, to suggest we would have won again without doing anything it just Frankly dumb.

For a club like Barcelona to go 5+ years without winning isn't what's gonna turn the club around, we needed to get back to winning ways to build a foundation and that's this title has done, so under the circumstances could make a very strong argument it's the most important.

It isnt 'the most important' either.

Usual nonsense.

Barca would be challenging for league.

Barca never went 3 years withour winning with Messi and Suarez scoring 50+ in league.

Barca best players bar Christensen were all there before last summer and before this board arrived.

Anyone that thinks this title is 'more important' than Peps first or the treble league 2015 etc are in absolute fantasy land.

As if Real Madrid and Barca fans hold up titles after 4/5 seasons as more important.... most folk could barely pick out when those were off top of head.

Typo 40* 2019/20 real Madrid champions.

But yea we were gonna win la Liga while doing nothing, but now it's not win, it's compete, lol.

Freaking joke.

Nope no one said would definitely win it just as cant say that any season but Barca should have been competitve and particularly with this Real domestically.

It was always argued Barca as a minimum need to compete for league and in Europe.

Nothing changed there.

'Freaking joke' is to make out this win is more important than Peps sextuple or treble in 2015.

Numpty stuff.

But aye make claims like Barca went 3 years without league when 'spending 500m' and had Messi and Suarez scoring 50.

So much shite contained in that one claim.

No 'compete' doesnt mean not win it means be in position to go head to head with Real and win it.

Same as next season... they need to compete with Real and even if dont win it that is minimum expectation.

But aye you make out Barca went years without winning it when spent 500m and had Messi and Suarez scoring 50.

'Dumb' is tne type of claim that this la lga title is more important than Pep in 2009 or 2015 etc.

Dumb.

Poor tactics.
Poor in game management.
Poor ability to get the best out of his players.
Poor attacking patterns (cross and inshallah).

Our play is always the same, despite who we face.

Injuries? Every manager faces injuries. What does that say about Xavi if we solely rely on individual quality?

Beyond that, our football is incredibly defensive, slow, predictable and boring to watch.

Reckon he will miss out of Foyth and then Xavi will switch Christensen to RB/DM position and Kounde will be CB.

Xavi studies what Pep does and the way Stones is RB/DM right now wont be getting missed and Christensen is best on ball and has played midfield before and it would allow Kounde to play in his better position.

Kounde at starting CB dont mind keeping him just not at RB or a 3rd choice CB.

Balde then would have to be more of a third CB in same way Ake is and less over lapping at times but he plays that well enough and lacks in final third from wide a lot anyway.

Messi come in and play the KDB role as AM/Second striker.

Feels like that is way may be heading.

True, but Madrid been in all for CL mindset for weeks already, precisely due to the big gap. When we made 12 points lead 1 month ago or so, they were very much on course of matching last season for points.
