Speaking of deco, his greatness doesn't get appreciated enough.
Definitely better than the likes of Gerard and lamps, obviously.
If he played for Portugal while they had Ronaldo, or choose Brazil, he would be up their in that group behind, the midfield generals, maybe even be amongst them.
He would probably be in that kroos, modric category, with a better international career.
What he did at Porto was legendary, and he was pivotal to Barca's CL success.
Ballon d'or runner up 2004.

Washed up Henry and Villa were definitely not Prime Neymar or Suarez level.
MSN was a comfortably better front 3 than anything Barca had before or after........
It didn't last long but MSN had great chemistry too. It's not just big names together.

Pirlo is right up there with Xavi, Iniesta and Modric.
Old Pirlo could barely move.....yet he dominated games with his technique and IQ.
Never forget when Pirlo had an injury in his right leg, he just casually ran the game only using his left foot.

Iniesta is amazing but there are players that can do his job or function in a similar role.
Xavi is unique and absolutely irreplaceable. I'm yet to see 'the next Xavi'.
Don't rate him as a manager at all and think he's very immature on the touchline but as a player he was supreme.

True, individually. But the thing is Villa and Pedro were far more likely to work hard off the ball, and this was essential for our pressing system.
With bigger egos up front, the team becomes an elite galactico team, and you lose on control and pressing. MSN Barca would have lost vs Pep's peak side probably 7 out of 10 matches or worse.

Lmao Silva or Fabregas could replace Iniesta. Fabregas was once Barca player, you can't fool me.
As great as Silva was, he had no business to replace Iniesta.
Remove Iniesta out of Spain from 2008-12, i'm sure they would not win anything. Same with Xavi.
