Still has a better goal and assists to game ratio than Villa/Sanchez and a whole host of your players barring Messi. And that's with a trainer and system that did nothing for him. You could of had the best striker in the world by a clear country mile, but you blew it and lost 50 mil on the transaction. Your loss. Deal with that.
Yeah, just as easy as you won CL last season.
Truth is a team has to be really superior to even have a 50% chans of winning CL.
CL was lost to a Vulcano and some other bad luck, anyone ignorant to that is, well, ignorant. Other than in that insane tie, the squad did everything right both in the league and in Europe. It wasnt allways pretty, but it was effective.

We have the best striker in the world. Ibra also had the highest miss and offside rating, by far. Villa and Sanchez doesnt play as strikers either.
I thinki made a list where it showed Ibra didnt have much higher rating the Villa. Z0.55 to V0.47..Samuel had 0.74 in the same striker pos as ibra
ontop of that Villa has a MUCH higher workrate, opens up more space for others and works for the team, not for himself.

Statswise there's not really much to choose between Zlatan and CR7 this year... CR7 should primarily be worrying about Zlatan before he worries about Messi for the Ballon d'Or, especially because Zlatan been turning a lot of heads this past year

Just want to educate you on Ibra's stint with Barca and how he fares in BIG Games, and how only a few of his goals is to be remembered.
Start of the season:
- Supercopa Espana : doesn't get transferred to us in time for the 2 matches. Barca beat Bilbao 5-1 on aggregate.
- European Supercup : his first match and a chance for a trophy against Shaktar. Starts the match does dick all for 80 minutes, get subbed out for Pedro. Pedro scores the winner in extra time.
- Ibra's best spell is at the start of La Liga season. Scores 10 goals in 15 games. Biggest goal winner and only goal in El Clasico. Other teams that were strong that he scored on was only Atletico.
- Copa Del Rey : Ibra scores a away goal in 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in first leg. Second leg proceeds to miss a butt load of chances including a tap in to advance us to the next round. We fail and get bounced by Sevilla.
- Champions League Group Stage : Ibra scores one goal at the group stage level. It was in a loss to Rubin Kazan. Fails to score against old club Inter.
- FIFA Club World Cup : Ibra plays full 90 versus Atlante in the semi, doesn't score we win anway. Ibra plays 120 minutes versus Estudiantes in final. Does dick all again, we win thanks to Pedro late equalizer and Messi extra time chest winner.
- Ibra goes missing in La Liga after scoring a penal versus Espanyol on Dec 12, doesn't score again until March 21, a late penal which Messi earned and gave to Ibra in a route on Zaragoza. Highlights posted in this thread. 3 FULL MONTHS no goals in La Liga.
- Champions League Knockouts : Ibra scores big away goal on Stuttgart in first leg draw. We win 5-1 on aggregate, doesn't score in 2nd leg. Ibra scores 2 big away goals against Arsenal in quarters in 2-2 away draw. We win 6-2 on aggregate thanks to Messi scoring 4 in return leg.
- Meanwhile in La Liga : Ibra scores in next 2 games against Osasuna and Mallorca. Misses the classico which we win at the Bernebeu. Scores one more goal against Xerez as his final goal of the season. Ends la liga with 6 goals in last 5 months of the year. We win la liga by 3 points after Ibra is benched for last 4 matches and Bojan takes his place.
- Back to CL where the semi's against Mourinho's Inter beckon. Away trip to Inter by bus, we lose 3-1. Ibra non existent. Secone leg, we need 2, but only got 1 goal. Ibra non existent again and subbed out.

To be fair, it was Ibra's header in the FIFA Club World Cup that set up Pedro to equalize. Without that, we would've lost in regular time.

psg in penaltys with st entienne in the cup. Psg have been poor as have ibra.

I watched this match, Ibra was playing at walking pace and choked a chance in the box setup by Lavezzi. He did score in the penalties though.
