He is really tearing France apart.

I can never know how he flopped for us. OK, flop is a bit harsh, but he was not really delivering.

Evian TG, never heard of them? They are just below Barcelona/Real Madrid in quality. Some would say they are better.

Ibra doesnt want to score anymore. Right now he looks as off as in the Porto game.

Pastore has been pretty good. Not "40m euro"-good, but its the first time I see him not suck.

Yet going into this weekend, PSG were 4th in a very weak Ligue1...Ibra continues to do what he's always done

Yes, he is known for losing league titles.

Ibra continues to do what he always does, score goals...But PSG are not running away with Ligue1 as was pointed out when they made their mega signings which says something about how much of a 'team' they are when you consider how poor the league is

Yeah, but its hard to tell so early. Chelsea, City, even Real have shown how hard it is to just throw in expensive signings and perform right away.

From what I´ve heard, Zlatan and Messi are tied leaders for goals+assist after the CL group stages this season. In Who Scored ratings for the league season, Messi is man of the match 8 games out of 13. Zlatan 7 games out of 13. They both play in very similar "false nine" positions, they are both focal points, they both hog the ball, they both dominate the field.

Yet so completely different.

Ligue Un isn't poor
Depends who you are asking. A lot of people would say it is, but then Serie A and La liga is pretty much poor as well, and we end up with EPL more or less, maybe bundesliga. And its not like the EPL or especially german teams are that much better, so....

Every league in the world is poor. And that really doesnt make much sense.

Ligue1 is the weakest big league in Europe
My (by birth) home team Gefle IF would dominate the table.

Seriously though, the difference is so small (and varying) between the big leagues that if we trash any one of them it just means that the best league "almost" sucks. And again I dont think that makes sense.

I definitely agree ligue1 is behind the top though, EPL and bundesliga is stronger overall, la liga is stronger thanks to Barca and Real who both would kill ligue1 including PSG.

Malaga and a couple of more teams would trash all ligue 1 teams including psg.

I'd probably rank them:-

La Liga > EPL > Bundesliga > Serie A > Ligue 1 > Liga Portuguesa > Eredivisie

Just the Western/Central European leagues.
