ِAm I the only one who don't get how 22 years old players plays in U21 squads?

If you are 21 or younger when the qualification for a tournament(U21 for example) begins and are a part of the squad then you can play in the tournament itself or remaining qualifers even if you have become 22 or even 23.

Nice to see MatS gettig the U21 call. Minutes he needs even if it's two friendlies. He needs to get his German commander yelling on.

He is very young and he can actually benefit learning from Bravo, then surpass him in year or two. Leadership, communication, experience in avantgarde defensive system that requires rather active goalkeeper role (Chile) - Bravo is more than adequate temporary replacement for Valdes.

Whole transfer ban situation warrants buying both goalkeepers, and IMO it is more logical to keep Bravo 'happy' for start and introduce Ter Stegen slowly. We need them both, and seniority and experience actually do account for something.

Only Masip comes out as loser from this arrangement, unfortunately.

I'm not happy Lucho didin't use him in La Liga yet but forced him away vs PSG having just one match played for the club at that point.

THe people that say that he's a young prospeect and should wait are totally wrong. If he is our future best to play to get him involved with experience and synergy with the team.

I should that potential(most of BF) during his debut. It was so good. I want MaTs!!!

Marc-Andre ter Stegen says Lionel Messi and Neymar are down to earth, normal people
The German goalkeeper was surprised at how friendly the superstar duo are

Sport EN | 14.10.2014 | 21:24h.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen
is living two different lives at club and international level.
The German has established himself as his country's U21 keeper, thanks to performances like the one against Ukraine which his side won 3-0, as Germany go for qualification to the Euro 2015 U21 championships.
Meanwhile for Barcelona he is, to all intents and purposes, a reserve.

He admitted to German paper Bild that he is happy at Barcelona and has been surprised at how normal Leo Messi and Neymar are.
"They are normal people, they also need to eat, drink and go to the bathroom like everyone else. They are very nice and close with everyone.
"I'm not talking about on a sporting level - they are giants - what matters to me is personality, because an idiot is an idiot, independent of the titles they win. Fortunately in our dressing room there are only good guys."

I go to the bathroom, and Messi goes to the bathroom. I wonder if we ever take a shit at the same time, there's a connection there.

We don't play thinking about the future as some other teams do. We play thinking about the present.

Slightly an extreme example, but that is what Arsene Wenger does.

He never plays for "the present". He always thinks about the future. He is obsessed with new youngsters all the time.
And even when those youngsters grow up and start to be "the present", he doesn't stick with them but then again makes a mistake and forces some new, even younger players for the future.

If our coaches would listen advices from fans from this forum, we wouldn't be much stronger than Arsenal with Mats, Bartra, Montoya, Rafinha, Munir, Sandro and Deulofeu in the team.

What is worse, in 2-3 Seasons, fans would ask for even younger, new gems to be in the lineup.

Again, this is why Arsenal doesn't win titles, and we do.
And yes, we should play some younger players, but you can't risk the present because of the future too much.
