He should get the Eibar match if Lucho decides to start him against Ajax. Bravo will play on Saturday and then in two friendlies with Chile. He can be 'rested' vs Eibar at home. If not then there is no point of starting him against Ajax.

Yes. Better play Bravo in cl and league, and let MAtS play the cdr. The CL was a bad choice to acclimatize MAtS, anyway. The level is higher. If Lucho wanted to play masip in the cdr, he should forget about it.

Stupid move from Lucho. Thrown to the wolves without playing a game for a long time.

No reason to blame the keeper, he isn't match fit.

Ye it seems to be the best way forward. Maybe give Mats the odd La Liga game against smaller opposition as well.

It seems that Lucho is going by the model that Madrid had last season even though Iker nearly cost them the final cause he was so out of form/rusty. They won the Champions League despite this rotational policy, not because of it.

Remember how angry ManU was on De Gea the first season. Now hes their best player despite the team playing bad.

Give TS some time, and MORE league games. Hes only 22

They had to play him, and had no other decent choice. Bravo is doing great at the moment, why would you make some changes to something that is perfect (0 goals)? Marginal utility has nowhere to go, but down, and that is what happened last night.

Lindergaard actually did really well for them when he played. The Bravo/Mats dynamic is obviously different cause Bravo also cost a decent amount but its not like United's only other option was a dud.

This was what I was thinking today. Just needs a bit of match experience. 22 is young for a GK so even if he spends this season as 'back up' then hes got plenty of time yet.

Even if people can see it in his eyes that he is not a happy MAtS

MAtS is in the German U21 squad

Marc-André Ter Stegen has been called up into the German under 21 squad for the games against Ukraine on October 10 and 14, joining Neymar, Suárez, Messi, Mascherano and Rafinha, who have already been called up by their national teams over next week’s international break

Good. He has not played a lot after coming back from his injury and every minute he gets is great. Hope he does well.
