Christ the MAt'S love and Ter Stegen hate is pretty wretched. MAt'S fanbois don't have to exaggerate each side of the argument. Ter Stegen did nothing of note against Atletico and he had 2 very poor passes that went out of touch. His distribution is better but not be a long margin. Anyone who watch the World Cup wil know Bravo is a quality keeper and his distribution is nothing to be laughed at.
The real advantage of MAt'S is that he sweeps, which is an area that Bravo just can't compete. When MAt's comes out he picks up the ball and gets it going into transition very quickly, almost like he was an outfield player, in the same situation with Bravo in goal Pique or Masch would have to come back and collect it which slows down the transition and allows the opposition time to regain their shape.
That sweeping will prove very effective for out style of play, I don't need to name the German who has mastered this at Bayern. If Pep was back at Barca he would have signeed MAt'S, but lets not pretend he's twice the player Bravo is.
