Leno already said more than once this fall that he won't consider joining a club with an "unclear goalkeeper situation". Probably with having MATS situation in mind.

We must keep Ter Stegen! He makes mistakes like every young player, I remember how many mistakes De Gea made in his first season with Man Utd and look at him now. Trust and time is what he needs. Bravo is 31 and soon Ter Stegen's time will come. For now he a kepper in CL and cup matches but I'm sure soon he will also play in league games. But if he goes I think Leno would be perfect replacment. Or perhaps try and sign De Gea.

Bravo is 32 and will be 33 in April.

Really JamDav? If it was between Stegen and Bravo. Bravo would get the axe from me. But many BF members would rather think short term.

At moment Bravo is definitely the better keeper.

Wouldn't be against either of them being number one just think it will be very difficult to keep them both happy. Can't see any other teams doing it and history shows at Chelsea last season etc even the most loyal GKs want to move on for first team football if they are good enough.

Thing is our Gk situation wasn't unclear when we agreed to sign MAtS. Valdes was leaving and Pinto was retiring. Pretty much everyone believed that he was coming into the team to ideally be our starting Gk for 10+ years as a direct replacement for Valdes. It was only after that Lucho/Unzue decided that we should sign Bravo

It is unclear now, however, therefore I doubt he'd come in case ter Stegen leaves.

Oops my bad. The point is he isn't a young lad anymore. And he won't be here for 10 years or more like Ter Stegen could be.

If you are Barcelona and Ter Stegen says he wants to leave unless first choice next season what would you do?

Telling him to wait a few years as Bravo won't last ten years doesn't cut it and I would bet he would ask to leave.

Is it worth keeping an unhappy player on the bench when could get a big fee for him in that scenario?

I was just correcting his age. I've got nothing against Bravo.. If he played like this into his 40-s than I would love it.
