I honestly find those rumours and Eberl's comments ridiculous and a very cheap attempt to cause unrest within the team.

Realistically, look at it like this: Let's presume for the sake of the argument that a keeper retires at age 35 on average. That would give Bravo two more seasons with us, after which tS is only 25 years old. Basically, if tS can endure this situation for two more years or so or maybe less than that, he could be Barca's number 1 for a decade. The next two years aren't crucial for him on the NT level, as well, since Löw will field Neuer all the time anyway.
And sporting wise, a transfer to any other club bar maybe two would be a step down no matter how you slice it.

I really hope he doesn't make any rash decisions this summer.

That's the rational way. Once emotion is involved though, irational decision can be taken.

But maybe Ter Stegen is trying to force the hand of the club a bit by threatening to leave. Nowadays, press is more and more used like a tool to put some pressure or to tactically place an idea and let them to conveniently spread it for you.

Ideally, Stegen waits a bit and we roll with this proven winning formula (so far). But it's looking more and more likely that things will not last with this unorthodox arrangement and distribution of playing time.

It's crucial as in winning the game, 80th minute, if it goes in the game probably ends in a draw.
It's not crucial looking at the bigger picture but isolate that game and that save directly contributed to the final score.
But yeah, "Ter Stegen's great save" would have been a better title.

"I want to take the next step forward and play more because the situation is clear: if nothing changes, we will have to have talks," he said. He could not have been any clearer about his situation at the Catalan club.

He continued: "At the end of the season I will have played around 25 games. It's not a small amount, but when I get back from national team duty, it's likely I will be on the bench in the Clasico against Real Madrid. So 25 games is not enough for me."

However, he didn't want to talk any more about a possible destination if he does leave Barça.

"No idea," he said. "It's too early to say. We've got games coming up against Real Madrid in La Liga and Atletico in the Champions League. That's all that counts. After that, we will see what the club does with me."

Okey now this just got real, his quotes are pretty clear.

Curious to see how Lucho and the club handle this, hopefully we get to keep him.

I'm impressed he's lasted this long. I'd have packed up and left in January of the first season if I joined a club and found myself immediately benched.

This is bad. It almost felt like an ultimatum to me. If the situation does not improve I will leave, pretty much.

I highly doubt Luis Enrique and the club will reverse their roles for the next season. If not this means the end of Ter Stegen at our club, I am afraid.

Too bad. But you know what? If he does not have an one iota of patience, let him go, there is nothing we can do. We will have to look for the next big GK talent then.

Kid is getting impatient. He should either wait or gtfo.

Wait for what and how long? He has been signed with the expectation to be Barca's keeper and then they suddenly announced Bravo and gave him the lead.
It's perfectly understandable that he realizes, he has actual options other than a parttime-role at Barca.
