“If the situation remains the way it currently is, we have to sit down and talk. To continue like this is difficult for a keeper my age. To be honest I haven't really thought about it, not thinking about other clubs because that would be too early."

Re-quoting this so people can read the actual quote every once and a while.

Even Alfredo Martinez thinks the Original rumor from the Telegraph is stupid.

This was a case of some Journalist Twisting Mats words and the Stupid Pep signing with city hype train into full effect.

I can sympathize with MaTS on his current situation. He's too good of a keeper to be missing out on the majority of the games in a season. Unfortunately the same can be said for Bravo and this is the best balance Lucho can make. Although I don't think the way he is speaking to the media is right, from the clubs perspective it would be smart to transition MaTS as the #1 over the course of this year because he is the future of this club.

I'm going to punch a hole in my wall if Pep/City lure him though. Fuck that.

There's sea. Great Britain is an island. Islands are surrounded by sea. Ter Stegen to Liverpool=confirmed!

His whining is getting a bit on my nerves. He should be worried of out performing Bravo in the chances he gets and prove hes the better keeper instead of threatening to leave through the press every couple of months. When he was given the chance in the league, he was a joke.

It's not balanced when Bravo plays most of the games while Mats plays twice or thrice a month. Balance is when both are playing equal amount of games (rotation on all competition).

I want him to stay but sick of his whining.

He had his chance to cement the starting spot earlier in the season but failed. Yes,the defence was a mess but that's when the keeper is supposed to step up.
Wouldn't be surprised if Lucho benches him for the rest of the season.
A loan deal for two seasons with Liverpool would be ok I guess.
