He is not what we want in a keeper whIle luis is here, so we might as well sell him, because unless things change he probably won't sign a new contract.

It's possibly City have got in touch with his entourage since the injury. But I've a hard time imagining the injury is itself anyway linked to it. I don't believe a footballer in his right mind would try and jeopardise his chances at an elite club, when there is much at stake.

That's also assuming the club wouldn't be privy to the ruse, meaning I'm not suggesting the club wouldn't know about any possible negotiations. Instead, the point would be to ensure the club wasn't embroiled in a transfer saga ahead of a Final

Has it been decided and communicated that he will definitely be the back up keeper this season by Luis Enrique?

If Lucho maintains his stubborn and sometimes idiotic behavior, he doesn't have to. When does Mats' contract expire? Him not renewing should be a very pressing concern.

He has three years left on his contract. He isn't going anywhere...if we are smart anyway. Even if Lucho wanted to make him only play CL this season and give Bravo CDR and La Liga- there is nothing he could do about it. He could start for us now, though, so why piss off the future keeper of your club for nearly the next decade for no reason? Bravo has experience, but he isn't much better than Marc anymore, if it at all. He came here expecting to be our number one, it's about time we give it to him.
