Why else would I be commenting? He had a poor first half, but did redeem in the sec. Poor anticipation on HSV's goal, and then goes down like a sniper hit him, when the HSV player barely touched him on the subsequent cross. And he seems to be making a habit of it. May be I'm being harsh, but I'm not impressed with his keeping on set pieces.

It was a free kick from the left side taken by a righ footed player that's one of the best at that in the Bundesliga.
The goalscorer would've been offside if not for Kramer and Stranzl looked pretty bad keeping Zoua in front of him.

That's just one of those things a goalkeeper can only look bad at(the ball would've gone exactly where ter Stegen was standing, if not for Zoua getting his head on it), given that he's got nearly no chance to do anything at all and with his defender not helping him out at all.

And that HSV player surely touched him on that cross, throwing around his elbows like Lasogga always does. He's just clever not using them when he gets in the air but nearly at the end, where it's not as easy to be seen by the refs.

Though MATS can surely work on his all around game but he's also not even 22 years of age and guys that age hardly are finished products.

Really curious about this transfer now. We need a GK for next season, an absolute must, but if the ban goes through..... we're fucked.

First of all Barca will challenge that ruling and it might take some time to figure things out.
And secondly, and most importantly, transfer that were already agreed upon can't be cancelled because of that.
And given that Gladbach only revealed their new goalkeeper after agreeing to terms with ter Stegens new club, I doubt that this transfer will be stopped.

Fair point. I really hope so, we need him. If we at least manage to get him we are in a bit better position, favourably of course an addition of a new CB would be great...

Vom Bruch (agent ter Stegen): "We're calm about transfer ban. We'll see if Barcelona will appeal and what happens in the coming weeks." [s1]

If his transfer falls through :banghead:

Yeah, the longer this sinks in and the information trickles out, both Ter Stegen & Halilovic's deals look unaffected...Still expect this ban to be overturned but how long it will take will be the question

Apparently Chelsea had a similar but less complicated case in 2009, and it took 5 months. So I don't think FIFA will make a decision until after the transfer window closes. Which is good, because we apparently still get to buy players until FIFA decide whether to accept our appeal.

That was one player though, our sitation seems to be involving 10 players.

He said that he will leave Gladbach this summer even when his move to Barca will be blocked.

So I think if we don't get to sign him this summer then next summer we don't have a lot of options.....

Wouldn't it be funny if he went to Madrid
