.@moillorens headline for Diario AS in 2008: "Messi: 246 days out and 7 injuries in 3 years."

Just saying

We're not going to get the second coming of Messi just because they were both super injured at the beginning of their careers. Also, Messi wasn't plagued by ridiculous knee injuries that crippled his pace before he turned 18.

Lower your expectations, and for now move on with the expectation this kid won't live up to the hype. It'll be better for your football related emotional stability!

Messi is one of the rare players who was injured often and then he turned into a healthy player.

Further, Fati is injured in one year as much as young Messi in his worst days.

Third, young Messi was fast and explosive and injuries haven't hurt him that much.
Fati was not that fast and after so many injuries, even if he returns to a good form, his pace at the age of 22 will probably be similar to Luuk's, Busi's and Arthur's.

Not to mention that he will lose years of development, he will lose experience.
And it could leave mental scars on him.

The most likely, you guys should abandon: "Fati the savior/top player around whom we will build our future" ship.

Many of the German doctor's treatments are seen as controversial, including using injections of a substance called Hyalart, extracted from the crest of cockerels, which is claimed to help lubricate knee injuries and take away the pain. He has also injected Myo-Melcain, which is the painkiller Procaine in a honey solution, or Actovegin into patients' muscles.

M?ller-Wohlfahrt's use of homeopathic medicine to treat players is also controversial

It's insane how popular alternative medicine is in Germany. No idea how the pioneers of modern science turned into such a crackpot of a nation.

club is still pushing that so the average barca fan/follower will probably swallow the pill.

any comparison with what messi did or experienced in his career is laughable really.

Ansu can still be a top player, World Class even. This is a hamstring injury so not a career killer. Eto'o had his meniscus removed at a young age too and Robben suffered injuries a lot until he moved to Bayern and got a consistent run of games without breaking in half.

But yeah perhaps time for people to take a step back when it comes to Ansu. He's not Messi. Never was. Nor someone the club will build the team around, that will be Haaland if we somehow manage to sign him. Barca simply have to find a way to sign a player like Haaland or else this rebuild is going to last a few more years. It's tough to compete for major titles unless you have at least one super elite player.

No one has compared him to Messi here, there is a context in that tweet Andresito brought.
You just can't write a player off at that age when his body isn't developed yet.
If he continues to have those problem going into his 20's (23-24 age) then year, no one will expect him to be healthy player anymore.

Also, Ansu is an efficient player, he was never a dribbler or pacey one anyway. That is why many said his future will always be a 9 sooner or later.

I am not saying that he is 100% certain to fail or have his career ruined due to injuries.

But realistically, let's say it this way:
1. do you know how 90% of La Masia kids turn into nothing?
But of course, 1 out of 10 turn into Puyol, Xavi and similar.
But when you see the next La Masia kid, he still has 90% chances to end as a nobody than to be the new Puyol/Busi.
2. well, imo, the same is with Fati in terms of injuries.
This Robben example is mentioned all the time here. And young Messi with muscle injuries.
But on every Robben, there are 10 guys who's careers turned into meh after injuries in the early days.

So, yes, he might be the next Robben who will overcome injuries.
But also, he is more likely to be in those 90% of guys who's careers were ruined or who's development was hindered a lot.

In terms of development, he was a kid who played at the age of 17 and in the future he might be a player who is 22 years old and barely had more than 10 matches in each of his senior seasons.
That is a lot of experience, chemistry, learning lost.
A huge part of a theory "he is young and has potential, he might improve a lot" will go down the drain.
Look at Dembele. He is here for 4 years, he had tons of injuries. Has he improved even one bit since he came here? No.
More or less, his career and development were frozen in time because he never had a chance to play a full season, to learn and grow.

Nothing is over for Fati yet. He has suffered a relapse and it won?t threaten his career. But he almost never players and he?s in his developmental years. If those injuries continue at this rate, it will be safe to say he won?t reach his peek.

Which is world class, no doubt about that.

Good advice for Ansu from Sergio Lozano, the captain of FCB futsal team.

"My opinion is that you should surround yourself with your people, your family, the people close to you, the people who really love you and make an impasse. Completely forget about football, clear your mind as much as possible and focus only on him. In his recovery and in his injury. And in enjoying the little things again. Obviously, without any pressure. He also has a lot of pressure due to everything that is happening around him at the club, that with the players who have left has a more important role if possible. In the end, this will surely create this anxiety in you. My opinion is that he make a clean slate and surround himself with his close circle and the people who really love him, "Sergio sentenced. Lozano, who has broken his right knee three times in his career but has always returned to a spectacular level.
