In France, if you dare saying you're not Charlie, you might end up in prison. You are wrong my Madridista friend, most people here are not bitter about Messi losing to Ronaldo, instead we are discussing what it takes to beat Ronaldo to win it.
And more importantly, you can't really question ONE PERSON's personal choice/pick/preference/view because this is how ONE PERSON feels/thinks, but you can question the result of a public vote like this as it reflects the public sentiment.
Just like you might not like the result of your country's democratic election, whatever it is and think the other party should have won, but you are not going to criticize one person's vote, are you?
And I'm not even joking. Some french on twitter posted things that the state didn't like, and now they risk prison for "supporting terrorism". One of them got a 1 year and a half prison sentence already.
Whatever people have to say, freedom of speech should prevail, but not in France.
