So... he plays like THIS and people still say he is "not trying."???????? Didn´t see the game but it seems from this he was aggressive and brilliant on the ball. This entire discussion baffles me!!

Do you honestly think this is Messi at 100%? When did u start watching him, few months ago?

We rarely see bad games from Messi, every game, even if he doesn't score he will terrorize the opponent with dribbles and passes. But nowadays it still saddens me that when he plays for FCB his old thrive isn't there. Atleast that seems to be the case for me.

Trouble is for Leo himself. Come the world cup he will need to win games like the one against Romania on his own and as well as he played they didn't win and all the media and many worldwide see is Leo as a goal scorer.

Argentina could make his job easier by playing well, but failing that the whole worlds media and many fans expects Messi to win every game by himself even if Argentina are weak. In order for him to challenge for a world cup and become best ever in many's eyes.

If that was a World Cup Game, the world wouldn't say Argentina were poor but Messi played well. They would only say "Messi fails again to perform for Argentina".

The crazy fact is, Messi has to make Argentina win every game otherwise people will abuse him and that is a ridiculous amount of Pressure for him to be under. Maybe that is the reason he is seeming a bit stressed and not at his free flowing best.

Leo is in a no win situation unless he wins the World Cup and scores at least 6. which is virtually impossible.

Do you guys remember two seasons ago when he was scoring at least a hat-trick and a super hat-trick in every Liga match (during the second part of the season) ? At this moment he was at the top of his career so far, with a lot of hunger and desire to show that he's the best in the world. He doesn't show the same hunger anymore but he's still the best in the world. It shows how good he is and how good he was.

We're still in March... Hopefully, he'll start peaking and finish with his best performances in April-July. When it really matters, the big and crucial games!

Tata Martino: “His vomiting isn't normal, but it doesn't affect his performance. It happens to him regularly — he's even seen specialists.”

If someone vomits a lot of time during effort and you have no ideea why , you can't call yourself a specialist.
