He was superb v. PSG (had David Luiz as world class defender).

He just had a bad game tonight, just like he did v. Malaga. It happens.

But what is disappointing was the lack of urgency on Messi's side.

Of course, but that have never bothered him Before, and his goalscoring decline (or perceived decline) is not only in big games but becomes more obvious when more is at stake.

Yeah if they pressed and weren't awful on the ball and enrique had them compact we would have done better. You need to give the back four a chance.

But that doesnt change that the defence was bad. Our front three and masch the only good things tonight.

In the Pep era, playing football ment everything to him. He still cares now, don´t get me wrong..but not as much as he used to.
We need a worldclass manager and some real defenders, not guys like Shakira-boy who are only here cuz of their names.

That was Modric and it was good. Shame he got a yellow, he was doing well pressuring up high. His and Neymar's early bookings slowed our pressure a lot.
