Idc about the Balon 'Dor that much, but i want messi to score a wonder goal ala Getafe when he was 19 or in the classico semi final in 2011, everyone keeps on saying things like messi can't do that anymore, or that he isnt fast or whatever but he did it in the world cup only thing is he passed it to Higuain first. Unfortunately the only games where he'll get this opportunity is against Real Madrid and Bayern and PSG maybe as he has limited chances to play open games where its possible to run through a side without passing it off. Although scoring it against the likes of those teams will make it all the sweeter.

Bild readers' poll had Messi placed in the 11th place with only 2% of the votes while Ronaldo came 3rd with 16% of the votes, after Neuer (30%) and Schweinsteiger (17%).

Certainly German users are biased toward German players so not surprising that Neuer and Schweinsteiger got the edge, however, the fact that Ronaldo is much more visible than Messi goes to show goals/hype = everything, and everything else matters very little. I think this is probably the case in other countries as well.
