IMO we played best in first 3 months of this year. Messi was on course to beat his 2012 record, in the end we as a team crumbled, looked exhausted and absolutely unlike ourselves

Contrary to popular belief in games where we were on 40 game win streak MESSI was our best player. Best player this year still has more goals then games in calendar year and has scored EVRYTIME we needesd him. Well, until Classico that is.

Wheels have fallen off and we lost. Last year he destroyed Bayern and City, we wouldnt be in final if it wasnt for him. Against atletico he decided title, this year it just wasnt meant to be. We still have 2 titles to play for and we are still favorites. So lets keep this meltdown down a bit.

Im sorry but go back 50 pages before our (TEAMS) winning streak has ended. People said he had better season then ever, now he has fallen off (like ENTIRE team) but somehow we are better without him now?

Neymar hasnt proven SHIT. He hasnt played good for 3 months straight, until he plays every single game of the season and doing that few times in a row we dont know how good Barca without messi really is. Its also much different to play good game in October and in April after record number of games we played

Suarez has been good this past few months, not great but good. Fact that he has played better in Oct/Nov doesnt mean he is better without Messi because I remember ALL of them being amazing and winning treble last year and messi being best player on planet. Until this happens for few seasons we cant atribute it to messi since they actually played best when all of them were together last year. And that is a fact, not meltdown after CL exit.

Get the tactics right and put him on the wing. Tell him that if he wants to pick his spots between the lines like he usually does, then he needs to do that in the final third not in our own half against a team parking the bus. Barca is still playing juego de posicion implemented by Pep and Messi deep in the center disrupts everything. If this is his own choice and not Lucho's instruction, Messi alone is to blame for his bad performances.
Big part of our system is having the two best dribblers in the world on the wings who stretch play because they need to be marked rather closely and are still able to beat the first marker basically all the time. Everything starts from this basic set up but we have given it up in the last couple of weeks. Who cares if Messi is exhausted or not, it is about him keeping his position to keep the whole team intact.

It is nonsense to blame Messi for the loss and our bad performances but he obviously plays a huge part in everything that happens on the pitch. And it is only natural that he gets huge criticism because he is also the one automatically getting the Ballon d'Ors when Barca wins the big trophies.

Seems like he had some discomfort that became worse during the NT break according to some other people on Twitter that follows him closely. Would explain why the drop in form has been so severe.

You will notice (bar last few weeks) these games I mentioned were toughtest games we played this year. We were on losing course against Celta until he scored, and we were down against Espanyol at home in copa until he scored. Fact is, Neymar and Suarez were dreadful against Arsenal and only guy who was able to score was Messi. Who knows where would we be had he not scored these two against arsenal?

Fact is (and that IS fact) that we played best when Messi was on pitch and he was good. Fact is with good Messi (and SN) we won treble last season. Not without Messi, with Messi. With player who singlehandedly beat Bayern Munich. We also had longest winning streak in history when he was good.

So now he isnt good (injury or not) and whole team plays like shit but most are shitting on messi. You are trying to paint a picture where everyone in last year was stepping up equally, but that is a lie and you know it.

But go on, continue like that. We already know your beloved president already wanted to sell Leo once so after team crumbles its best to prelare field for messi to be gone since hey we play better without him.
