He made a couple of chances for suarez, he was involved in the penalty. The only player that could beat a person. You can blame him if you want, but without him we would be much worse.

By these stats Pique and Rakitic played better than Messi.
If we're going by stats, Messi had 3rd most touches of the entire field, behind Busquets and Alba. Yes that includes RM players too. Had the most dribbles, tied with Isco, 2 key passes, and 2 tackles, and he was driving virtually every single attack of the second half.
Yet you have people here trying to tell you he was lazy, uninvolved and played badly.
hmm
2 key passes... one more than Denis who created the best chance and same as Vidal.
Also had horrible passing stats and gave it away the most.
He was lazy and him getting ball often doesnt change that.
I know that he has to play in the middle since we have 3 turtles plus Luis in midfield.
But still, nothing good ever happened long term when he played in the middle.
Again. Not blaming him only arguing against idea he was good or better than the rest.
He needs to up his game from that big time.
nonsense, he played through the middle as a false nine during Barcelona's best ever period.

So he got the 3rd most chances of the game and created only two chancesHe was lazy, yet he was getting the ball 3rd most often of the entire field. You make no sense.
Messi had 84% pass success, which is, wait for it....... his career average!!! Shocker!!
JamDav you simply didn't watch the game are just here spinning smoke. Go away man.
I remember you praising Neymar's performance against PSG in the 4 0, when he lost the ball 41 times.
So he got the 3rd most chances of the game and created only two chances
