In the end that's okay. Performance in football is also a game of probability. You are not going to convert every chance created. But if you have players that create a great sum of chances together, chances are higher that some of them get converted. As long as Iniesta still poses a big enough threat to opponents he contributes.
But he doesn't pose much threat at all, really. I mean, I've loved Ini as much as any, and he saved some good performances for the end of last season, but if we're being honest, he gets by HUGELY on his name rather than merit these days. Our fans get very defensive over saying that, and I get it, but you have to call a spade a spade too. I'm not saying sell him or anything, but definitely a starting midfielder and a starting CB in the summer are vital imo.
I want to see 2 more CL games before I make that call. Iniesta seems to perform better in CL.
