Apparently that's what they do (wishing an injury to Messi) at ManUtd forums. Tbh. I wasn't surprised as I knew what kind of smut and idiots they allow in most of those places.

That was a cule I was responding to though. But yeah, I agree about the amount of trash that gets posted to there and some other EPL forums (Arsenal Mania is just as bad if not worse, I remember when they were threatening Guardiola and our players during the Cesc saga).

No true fan would want any player injured would they, and anyone who's seriously wishes this on any player isn't a nice person. I did think the guy from above was joking though, but I might be wrong.

yep, they have a special thread for messi to get injured! Fuckin' bloody bastards!

I'm obviously a United fan, and I'm embarrassed if thats true! :(

Anyway, why would anyone want Messi to be injured. If we beat Barca without messi it would be almost meaningless.

That's what he's talking about... they're basically posting all this stuff trying to jinx him. It's not that bad IMO but they should really focus more on figuring out how to beat Messi than trying to jinx him into injury. Also they think that even if you guys beat us without Messi that you can still call yourself the greatest.

Quote that sums up Barca for me -

Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid
and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is
fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is
another paradox: what is soft is strong. – Lao Tzu (600 B.C.)

Course they want him injured, he's the best player in the world and increases United's chances of winning. Don't see the problem really, you telling me you Barcelona fans wouldn't be happy if say Vidic or Rooney were injured?

I'd prefer Ferdinand being out to anyone else tbh, if it came down to choosing one of their players.

It'd be an advantage for sure and no cule would complain, but it's pathetic to say "haha I hope he breaks his leg!" or things along those lines. At least in my view it is.

I don't want any Barca player injured. If we beat them I want it to be with their best players on the pitch.

Comparing Xavi or Messi to anyone really is like comparing Jordzibob(tennis-wise) to Roger Federer.

PS I am sorry if Jordzi is actually a super leet tennis player.
