He will not go to Juve for sure.

Those cheap bastards cant offer us any money.

If he goes he goes to England.

I would like him to stay, he deserves better contract although he costed us big money against PSG.

No minutes. We are losing him aren't we.

Can't imagine his contract demands are that high. Laporta plugging the holes in Barca ship with jewels instead old rags.

He is on relatively low wages (considerably less than both Koundé and Iñigo) but renewed nearly 3 years ago when there simply wasn’t room to pay more while Jules arrived summer of ‘22 and the Basque ‘23. Timing wise, he simply didn‘t get the contract he had earned but he is likely to want similar wages to Jules and he’d be justified (nearly double current)

If he’s committed to staying, then definitely deserves that level of wages but club can’t have 4 (5 with Tah) central defenders in excess of 9M annual wages. Exits would need to happen, Andreas most likely

Araujo should be he highest paid defender of this team.
Period.

It's Fatporta's job to find what to do with the UNDESERVED wages he gave to Kounde Inigo and Christensen.
Not Araujo's problem

You can see he loves Barca, I'm sure he would renew on a normal salary in the range Gavi will get, he's a top modern and young CB, captain material, passionate, motivated... And we're loaning and selling that while we keep has beens without any fire like MATS, FDJ, Lewa, Fati... It's really mindblowing how stupid this club is. We can change presidents and directors but the stupidity stays... This is a lot worse than the Olmo saga if it goes through which I think it will, Araujo will not stay if they say that they don't want him, he's not a leech like some.

We could have a decade of Cubarsi Araujo partnership, they fit great together but now we'll partner Cubarsi with some soft slow CBs. The future Lenglets...

He won't go on a loan we are not that dumb. Why do you think that people who see him train day in and day out and know his salary demands would let him go so easily? If he is that great and has reasonable demands he wold stay for sure.

I am willing to bet it's not that black and white for sure. Barca were negotiating his contract renewal for over a year and there is still no solution. If he doesn't want to renew with reasonable salary than it's better to sell him for a huge sum than to lose all that money like with FDJ.

Regarding Fati's case, people are now acting smart. Any of us would give him that contract in that moment. Unfortunately his career was destroyed by injuries and it's impossible to sell him now. No one should be blamed for that.
