He is the darling of the local fans and media. That's why.
On his current form he should be at Celta Vigo. At the moment he's just a nothing player. He's a midfielder but what kind. Shit on the ball, attack and defence. Unless he picks up form he should be on the bench.

He cant play AM other than a runner as technically he is not great having eye for pass to open up game often or pull it off and the other side of it is he is to slow to have much impact driving with the ball... also he doesnt score many goals in career to date.

It is still the position most likely to play though as him at DM/double pivot would be an utter debacle both on and off the ball.

His most suited position is Pedris but he is miles and mile off Pedri on the ball and miles off FDJ also who would play there if Pedri out and Casado goes DM.

AM is where he is most likely to play as can have a role that allows for pressing and less quality is the reality at the moment.
