So because PSG recruited DL i should now cheer him and accept his defaults? :xavi:

People have the right to dislike suarez if they want even if he joins Barcelona because the logic you put upfront makes no sense.

Or because you now have a qatar sponsor you should support qatar? From what i read here, most don't and it's their right and most of them have arguments to defend their pov.

Think about it this way. Do you want to see DL fail when playing for you or play splendidly?

I am for signing Suarez, but that should be secundary to other things...we already have huge attacking potential:Messi,Neymar,Sanchez,Pedro,Delofeu,Tello,Bojan,Afellay,Cuenca,...as a matter of fact,we have attackers for 3 teams and defenders for barely one...and we are buying more attackers!

"My general,I bring you detailed report from the fronts. We are strong on the Northern front, but our Southern front is breached and catastrophy threathenes!"

"Strong on the Northern, loosing on the Southern front, you say?Well, send reinforcements to the North, what are you waiting for?"

"But,sir,we have more then enough men on Northern and huge deficit in the Southern..."

"Did you hear what I said?Send more reinforcements to the North!"

No I mean that you shouldn't want a player who plays for your club to fail. I'm sure you want the DL that was in the 2013 Confed Cup final rather than the Sideshow Bob version.

You can dislike a player that plays for your club, but you can't root for him to fail.

You may dislike Luiz, but I'm sure you want him to succeed. If he doesn't, it'll be a huge blow to PSG.

You're 100% right. Sorry.

That said i don't expect anything from DL. Our referees here will book him a lot and lots of teams play with a packed defense and counter attacks. So everytime DL will decide to play as a CF or RB like he just did tonight, it will be a disaster.

I'm not excited at all by Suarez's impending move, at all. From a practical perspective he'll be missing until October at the very least, and will probably struggle without a proper pre-season behind him.

Then there's his mental state. He quite clearly has something wrong with him and the fact he's bitten a fellow player on three different occasions is just staggering, and totally inexcusable. And, there was the whole racial incident with Evra which stunk to high heaven.

It's one thing selling the front of the jersey to the corporate, ostentatious monster that is Qatar; it's one thing to drag the club through the mud regarding the ridiculous structuring of the Neymar deal; but signing Suarez on the back of his absurd actions is just unbelievable.

I'll support any player who wears blaugrana but I'll never come round to Suarez. A lot of the moral integrity Barca used to have has been washed away and now we're no better than the likes of Real Madrid. A sad indictment of our descent into just another club.

His ban isn't an issue match wise, he'll miss a couple of Liga matches and that's it. As for training I'm sure we will keep him fit and supervise him. It might take longer for him to gel though which is annoying but manageable.

His conduct isn't very nice but once again I don't get the paranoia about biting. It's the same as any other violent conduct but people act like it's somehow infinitely worse. He will have a psychologist with him and he didn't have problems with Pool this season. Remember he only snapped at the WC when the psychologist wasn't there to prep him before the game about his frustration management techniques.

I don't think him being out for 10 games will distract his gelling with our team. He flew from Amsterdam to Liverpool during 2010-11 winter window and helped them to crawl from 12th place to finish 6th.

Liverpool isn't Barcelona though. Especially not 2010-2011 Liverpool.

Mes que un club has nothing to do with the players we sign. I've seen plenty of forums bashing us over the Neymar signing tax fraud and now signing Suarez... basically rival fans saying 'more than a club' is dead. It's pretty sad to see our own fans doing the same when they clearly don't know the meaning behind it.

That's not the point he's making. He is showing that he can adapt quite quickly. I think he'll adapt quickly too but it will be delayed a bit. Like Bale for Madrid this season.

Official: FIFA announces that Luis Suárez will not be able to train with any team during the 4 month ban period.

If the practice is closed doors in a closed stadium, how can they verify this? Then again, I fully expect some snake from within the club to rat us out to FIFA.

I'm with you on everything you said and I wont support him even if he would play in Barca colours. This club is going down hill because of management. We still haven't sorted out our defence problems yet we go of our way and buy an expensive unneeded striker. I've been saying this for a while now but can't see Messi staying while this management is in charge. Next summer he will depart after a terrible season.
