I feel like this cat is going to be an unbelievable signing.

La Liga is so much less physical than EPL and this guy is as physical as they come. Can't wait to watch him BULLY these Spanish twigs lol.

depay did that with his muscles and dembele with his speed. oh wait, they are shit.

being good at football and having a high footballing IQ > being a physical beast.

if rumors are true, we'll be paying him the minimum LL wage with Wolves paying the rest. If we decide to buy him, we'll likewise spend 0 euros on him. Say what you want but this is a good deal

We got that Middlesbrough 17/18 Championship attack with Traore and Braithwaite. What a time to be alive.

Traore's pace will be adding much-needed dynamism though in all seriousness.

Only if they want to buy Trincao, I think.

Chances are, at the end of the season Trincao will be back and Adama will be back to the Wolfes.

He was a starter for 2 years prior to this season under Nuno. New coach wanted to change system to 3 CBs
9 assists in 18/19

I personally think Wolves were overall better with jota, Pedro neto and Jimenez as their attackers, as they combined well together both upfront and in pressing. Adama came in with his legendary dribbles but he killed many of the combo plays they used to have (like between the attackers and fullback ), and he doesn't know how to position atimes but he'll give you over 6 dribbles per game. Hopefully he'd change for the better here

Mendes probably wouldn't like that all that much though. Imo it's very likely there is at least some kind of verbal agreement there that we buy him (and they keep Trincao in return) if things work out decently, would be a bit of strange move otherwise.

Barca would get a cheap solution now, don't have to worry about Trincao in the summer, Wolves get Trincao potentially cheaper and Mendes secures moves for two of his clients already.

Trincao's faith is sealed. He's leaving the club unless he becomes Premier League Player of the Season.

On Adama - it depends, the loan deal sounds good, but our style of play didn't profit much from physicality of individuals until recently. Luuk just lately found his good form, Depay lost his, like they swapped souls or something.

Seems to me Xavi is drifting away from the tiki-taka, bringing more physical players who are not necessarily wizards with their feet.

Wolves will cover Adama's salary until end of the season with Barca paying the minimum required by La Liga. Wolves will buy Trincao but the buy option will have Adama's wage cost deducted. [ARA]

Just a way to get around La Liga's salary cap. Basically, what Barca saves now will cost them later.
