Busquets is one of the slowest players I've ever seen, he can't possibly be slower than him. That's also one of the major reasons Busquets is a terrible CB.

He didn't look completely out of place like Mascherano in his debut. So that alone is a plus already. He stayed disciplined and kept it simple (no brainless forward runs or Hollywood passes). Tried to make only one-touch passes whenever possible. Got stuck in a few times defensively. Maybe interpreted his role a bit too defensively even. Looked more like a 3th centreback à la Makelele at times. I think he has more to offer. Good debut against pretty much the 4th best team in La Liga (IMO Atletico is better this season). Hope he builds on this.
