I'm glad he didn't play but if Tito starts Adriano over him what does that say about Song's qualities at CB????I never understood this signing and it makes even less sense now. A total waste of 19m which we could have saved to actually get a real CB.

Problem is at full health, our squad has 3 top defensive mids. We should have just bought a dedicated center half in the summer. Since we are shopping for one for the next window, I wouldn't be surprised if we consider offloading Mascherano or at least within the next 2 years
