The temperamental nature of the posters in here is astonishing, They complain about how alexis 'Reverted' back to his usual self, And neglect the fact they also 'Reverted' back to the usual rants, I'll give a summary of the posts.
He's good.
He's bad
He's good
He's bad
It's not even possible for a player's performance to be so unstable, A similar thing happenes in Cesc's thread, They can't hold a certain view for more than a game or two.

Because THEY AREN'T CONSISTENT. You can't be so blind as to tell most of the users here that they are actually performing consistently week in week out. Their performances are extremely unstable because they both seem to start matches well, then some mental thing happens which screws them up, and then they slowly fade away.

In what league this counts as "a decent performance", I don't know... this guy is missing sitters left and right, losing possession, passing back every time he goes up front, and spending the rest of the time on the ground.

Villa and Alves also had a couple of bad misses. He lost possession how many times today? I can remember only one occasion but he was really good at retaining possession. He passes back less soften than pedro, and he made a few good runs into the Ray box or either cut inside and changed the direction of play.

Spent the rest of the time on the ground???????? What the fuck were you watching son? I mean I do realise that most football fans are fickle, many Barca fans are overly judgemental and reactionary, but I at least expect better from senior posters like Bojan. Enough with the immature reactionary posts and try to be more objective for fucks sake.

He played as he has been playing lately. He seems more confident, tried to take on players. But had his share of bad decisions and those misses... Alexis and Pedro are on the same level to me, this season.

Alexis is by far our worst diver and will voluntarily jump down and cry foul just for being looked at the wrong way. He's worse than Cristiano in this respect, and CR is REALLY bad. Objective? You think this is hatred talking out of me? Cesc, Pedro, Busquets, Alves and Alba all do this, and I don't remember hating them. It's just that Alexis is the worst of them at it. Go rewatch the match and count how many times Alexis fell, and how many times other players did. This is not a reactionary post, I've been saying this for months.

They also seem to forget every single player was slipping today, it even happened to Messi in a clear counter attack, but yeah it must be Alexis and his poor balance and ballerina shoes...

Every time Sanchez fell it was an actual foul though; none of them were dives. He gets fouled as much as Messi, if not more (for a reason I cannot explain).

He was great, The only thing he was really guilty with was was that bad assist he tried to make, He should've tried to take the chance himself.

I'd still like to see someone counter what I said previously. Put any of our playing full backs (Dani, Alba or Adriano) in his position and they'll deliver more goals and assists and will put in same effort off the ball.
Or some here still believe Alexis is/would be more effective than any of those full-backs.

I agree with you completely. Heck, Dani Alves is a bigger goal threat than Alexis.
