Alexis Sanchez

well, alexis was the 2nd best goalscorer with cesc last season, even with all those injuries. this season has been really fucked up for him because of even more injuries. he can't score 15 goals per season if he is a very bad finisher. it took cesc a lot of time (since january untill this, lets say after the sevilla game) to get into his top form. btw i have no problem if villa starts over him. nothing. but those talks that alexis is useless and should be sold are nonsense. he can still add a lot to this team. last 2 games he played 3 of the 4 goals scored by messi, came thanks to alexis who played a huge part of them. and he only played 105 minutes out of 180.

Agree with every sentence.

Alexis isn't very bad when it comes to finishing plays as he scored a few beauties last season. I believe inconsistent is the right word in this case. :)

Yea you guys are right. He actually did have some very nice finishes last season. We just need to see it on a more consistent basis, that's all. We still have some time until the end of the season, so hopefully he finds his touch by then.

Thanks for the video. Shows that he IS a quality winger/striker/finisher. Just needs to regain his confidence. He is very young, so no need to even think about selling him. The problem is that the benchmark for striker in our team has been Messi.

See, THAT'S confidence! Once he feels like that when playing for us we'll see his real potential and he'll really be an asset. That run is awesome.

I would absolutely love for him to get his confidence back and start scoring consistently but at what point does patience start to run thin? Of course he should be given chances this year to prove himself and could be crucial later on but if he fails to impress this season; how much patience will management have?

Not too bad of a game, certainly better than Pedro; involved, and actually tried to dribble his opponents. Improving, certainly, won't be too long before he finally puts one in the back of the net.

IMHO, great effort from him today, probably one of the better games he's played this season, but again, terrible passing. And he seems to be spending more time on the ground than on this feet.

still not convinced he seems to be real slow not searching a 1on1 at any point.... although he dont search the goal ..like villa did directly after his sub
