I don't believe it, because this seems illogical, they keep him when he is not performing and now when he is at his best they want to sell him, we are not Porto or Ajax which develop players and when sell them.

IMO, there have got be players in the team, who are willing to sacrifice them for team to start working wonders. All stars can't make a successful team. We already have messi, iniesta and neymar who are more of center of attention in our team. Another such player can weaken the team overall considerably.

Alexis and pedro make those smart moves, drag defenders in the targeted areas so messi, iniesta can do wonders. They both have tremendous work rate and can track back pretty effectively. And both are willing to play as widesman. Sacrificing themselves, in many ways.
