Incorrect. Pedro might not be as overall talented as Alexis nor many other players out there, but Pedro can create scoring for himself far better than Alexis, and is also a better link-up player. Pedro still suffers from inability to consistently beat his marker. but he needs less moves to get a shot off.

The team needs better players up front than both though.

Not really, if Pedro is marked tightly. The guy dissapears. And my god his link up play was god awful against Atleti yesterday. Lets accept it, Alexis has surpassed Pedro.

Pedro has been terrible for weeks, but he has better link-up play and can create his own scoring better than Alexis. Alexis has surpassed Pedro, yet only has 2 more goals this year than him.

Again, neither of the two should be primary options to help out Messi with the scoring. This team needs a true scoring threat up top to take some heat off Messi.

All the good scoring wingers play on the left. And it is of no use to buy a player like Reus and misuse him on the right. Now we have Neymar - Messi - ?

That's a problem, true enough, though I think Reus can play just fine on the right, but perhaps Barcelona need to get a little creative and explore other options besides just a wing player. The forward line needs help, of that I am absolutely certain.

True, people are always tend to look at our backline when we have problems. But the problem is, so often we have been toothless in our attack this season. Against Atleti, against Real in the Copa final. We had to rely on Bartra to score the equalizer for us. Not to mention against shitty La Liga teams where have dropped so many points. Our attack and midfield used to be so dominant, our defense was overlooked. But now? Almost any team can defend against Barcelona.

Still sucks. Sell him to Juve for 20m in 10 installments over the next 50 years, and get Cuadrado.

Only consistent and dependable player in this team is Messi, even with an average season by his standards. Team needs to fix this.

Well, Alexis has arguably scored Barça's 2 best goal of the season this year against both of our title rival. So, who knows? He might score a couple of more brilliant goals in his career..
If only stylish goal now gave titles. Sorry, can't equate Alexis with elegant class players such as Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Kluivert, Eto'o and Henry just to name a few. Alexis will never be an adequate replacement or be especially missed when he leaves. He is limited and clumsy with the ball. For boyish. That he is rumored away from the club suggest that the people in Catalonia do not want him to stay. He is not exactly a player that you pay to see play football if you know what I mean.

He should be happy that he got confidence throughout the three seasons. It was, after all, the third season, which remained his strongest. And that achievement is a standard requirement in terms of the Barca measure of the position. Especially if you get to play massive 54 matches (as Alexis did this season). Thanks but no thanks :)
