Límited? Are you serious?

Limited for Barca's standards.

In 2006 we had:
1. Ronaldinho
2. Eto'o
3. young Messi
4. Guily
5. Larsson
-- Alexis and Pedro would be our 6th choice back then. That means something.

Currently Pedro and Alexis are our 3rd and 4th attacking choice, or even 2nd and 3rd choice sometimes.

Alexis and Pedro are not bad players.
But this really is the worst Barca's attacking line in the last 10 Seasons

We have:
1. Messi
2. Neymar, who may or may not one day develop into a Barca's material
3. Pedro and Alexis

Again, compare our current attacking line with any of our attacking lines from 2005' till today.

Yes, our Gk was injured.
Yes, our defense sucks.
Yes, our midfielders don't play Tiki-Taka like before, and they don't press like before.
But oh yes, our attack has never been as toothless as this Season.

Ney, Alexis, Pedro, each of them needs like 20 shots on average to score a Goal.
Plus, Messi is bored lately. Who is supposed to score then?
The part of the guilt should be on their shoulders.

Again, maybe they are not guilty (Pedro and Alexis).
They are just not as good as our attackers from previous winning Seasons.

I would say my opinion, but I know I will get flamed by the forum for just revealing the truth of how much of a fraud Alexis is

Dinho was a midfielder, might as well count Iniesta then, and wasn't Larsson just a striker who was content to sit on the bench? I wouldn't count him ahead of Alexis or Pedro...

Ney, Alexis, Pedro, each of them needs like 20 shots on average to score a Goal.

Neymar: 15 goals, 108 shots, 14% conversion rate
Alexis: 21 goals, 76 shots, 28% conversion rate
Pedro: 19 goals, 73 shots, 26% conversion rate

Ok

If Ronaldinho was a midfielder for Barcelona, then Alexis is a midfielder too.

Ronnie was a LWAM as in he was situated on the wing, but he would drift into the center and dictate plays when he wanted. Like Messi before Pep decided to keep him in a false 9 role

alexis and neymar first season in barcelona are almost parrellel,
both scored a couple of goals on their debut or second champions league match, ( alexis 2 away goals to bayer levekusen on debut , neymar hatrick against celtic in his second cl app.
both played 41 matches in total, alexis 25 apps in la liga and 12 goals, neymar 26 apps and 9 goals. both scored a total of 15 goals in the first season, both directly assisted or scored a goal in 17 matches. both were picking up form and then got injured for 2 months.
both scored in the clasico. alexis 5 assists compared to neymars 11 assists. everything is pretty much the same, bar the assists, sanchez first season considered a flop, neymar first season called excellent and was voted second best player of the season.
even now when sanchez has improved tremedously and scored 21 goals and 15 assists people say he is not good enough. i bet if reus performed exactly the same for barca people would be appauding his stats.
the fact of the matter is that sanchez is suited for barca, and saying that he is not is based on nothing. he links up well with alves, neymar and messi, he has given the most assists to neymar 5 times, and messi 6 times, he always seems to score against our biggest rival madrid, he is fast as hell and tracks back and defends remarkably, alot of goals that appeared out of nowhere was when sanchez robbed the ball and barca counter attacks. he complements barcelona attack alot more than he hinders it and him neymar and cesc have beautiful chemistry. if the board didn't sell him when he was playing bad for first half of last season, why in the world would they sell him now when he finally found his feet and performing awesome, he finally looks in place and trust me he is going to rip it up in the world cup.
people still finding fault in his performance even though he gave us hope of la liga title win with his golazo, i bet if diego godin didn't equallize people would be praising his name for years to come.
if alexis was not playing good then why did the match forum here name him third best player of the season behind messi and neymar? Sanchez has to stay or we will regret it.
he is in the top ten players for most goals scored for club and country .
21 goals in 76 shots is ridicoulous conversion rate, double that of neymar and more than double than c.r.

Better to let people think what they want about Alexis. I'm happy for him, because he was or 2nd best attacking player this last season. Everything else is interpretable, the numbers aren't.

Its a shame that this guy would be sold because the club won't sell Pedro. That goal was one of the best in this season.

Impressive huh? In the last 21 games for Barcelona Alexis has scored 5 goals. 21 games, 5 goals. In 9 UCL games this season Alexis scored ZERO goals. In his career for Barcelona in the UCL, spanning 24 games in total, Alexis has scored just three goals.

This is a forward mind you, not a midfielder, not a fullback, but a forward.

But it's all ok, he brings great work rate, right.

This.

Alexis is not a wing forward in a 4-3-3 system for Barcelona. That system requires true wing forwards capable of moving around, taking on markers and constantly threatening the goal and creating scoring on their own, apart of course from being involved in the team passing play and high pressing. Alexis can press well enough, but his link-up play is not great, he cannot dribble to save his life and every time he does he trips on his own feet, and he cannot threaten the goals consistently because he cannot create scoring for himself.

Alexis is more suited to a wide midfield/wide winger role of a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 in which he can support a main striker(s) with creativity, work rate and dirty work.

One fluky goal and people have forgotten countless games of futility and total inability to threaten the goal the past 2 months.

And this...

I would say my opinion, but I know I will get flamed by the forum for just revealing the truth of how much of a fraud Alexis is

Are you afraid of saying openly your own opinion about Alexis or any other player of the team you are supporting ?
This is primarely the purpose of this sort of forums...
