Yep, Cavani is heaps better. As someone mentioned we don't need Moratas profile. We have enough of these "link up" players. We miss too many chances. We need someone who will stick the ball into the back of the net.

PSG and ManU fans say Cavani misses too many chances these days but still probably better than Morata and imo better guy and personality. Morata is born Madridista.

Its not that he is terrible or anything, but i can't fathom how he keeps landing big clubs, every single time.

Yeah he always had potential to be great and had runs of good games, but seriously he's like the ultimate fraud and it's kinda amazing  Made it into the 1st team of Real, on to Juve, back to Real, Chelsea, Atletico, Juve again and now Barca is interested. Incredible.

He looks good. Teams believed he could improve his scoring. Never happened, so everyone overpaid for mediocre product.

We need goals, and then were bringing in Ferran and maybe Morata. Combined scoring of less than 20 over the past 2 years probably.

Recipe for disaster.

Now Ferran makes sense as an opportunity and for his potential, but Morata?

Hes the type of guy you bring on a 6 month loan with an OPTION to buy, that is never activated as he scores 1 goal if your lucky.

But if we mandatory buy then it's a terrible option. We already have Braithwaite to run about and miss easy chances.

So yeah, fine with a 6 month loan as a squad option, but output is going to be poor.

Everybody makes sense if they can be registered. It's better than playing randoms from youth team.

True but Morata offers less scoring needs than Depay, but more tactical needs.

It is a slippery slope. I wouldn't get that desperate. Unless we have widemen and midfielders that guarantee goals given they can get into the right positions then the transfer may be less productive than sticking with Jutgla ...

Jesus Christ don't turn into a mini Luis & have us be a mini Spain, he's terrible, should have gotten cavani in for 6 months & kept it pushing.

We have plenty of forwards already when they come back from injury. If we're gonna bring one it must absolutely be a goalscorer and not an associative forward, especially not overpriced one like Morata.

Xavi and his team probably just have poor scouting knowledge/range and are signing guys they know the qualities of but alas they are still the wrong profiles.
