Why insist in the same mistakes and expect a different outcome?
I just wasn't able to do a comparative analysis like you did and articulate it so well. It's incredible how such a fundamental factor is ignored while judging our team performances. I urge anyone to go and look at our games in 08/09 and see how teams open up against us, and how we struggled in games when the big teams parked the bus. Teams are still playing Bayern like they did us back in those games, not too worry though, that'll all change soon.
Very good post. But that does not mean that barcelona should change his game in certain ocasions? Why insist in the same mistakes and expect a different outcome?

Let's also point out are team compared to now vs Madrids team there compared to now. Have we got stronger? probably not except Busi instead of Yaya, have they got stronger? Definitely and by a lot.
Why do people always act like we are weaker than superior Real? not just you but in general, they got schooled last classico and play shit, they may be stronger than in 2009, which also isnt by alot, they still are inferior.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Had they been awarded that penalty vs mascherano it would have been 2-2
+1
And look at how much stronger and quicker Xavi and Iniesta, especially Xavi, are on the dribble, compared with today.
Iniesta looks the same actually. Xavi has clearly declined physically though
