They'll comfortably win the next season. Felix, Suarez and Griezmann as the forward 3. They'll have Koke, De Paul and Llorente in the midfield.
I actually make Atletico one of the big favourites for the Champions League now. Griezmann will suit Atletico's system way more.... and Simone will play him in the right position.

1) People here who claim Saul is what we need, either haven't watched Saul at all OR have a distorted idea of what type of midfielder we need
Just to give you a sense of what type of midfielder we need, look at Rodrigo de Paul that Simeone signed.
If Saul ends up here, you will see Moriba playing and him rotting on the bench, just like Pjanic sat all year long.

All in all, if we manage to get Griezmann and Coutinho (Marseille) off the wage deal and transferred out of the club this week then it will be a good week.

Juventus would only have been an option if Cristiano Ronaldo left them, but he's staying and you know just as well as I do that Juventus would try to shaft us by offering Demiral instead.

I think the question was either to do this deal or keep him and use him. But they decided he wasn't worth the effort or the problems.

Dembele will be back from injury in couple months also Collado and possibly Demir.
Even then may look to bring in a wide player.

We also have Braithwaite. I have concerns over Aguero's fitness.... and we have no clue how Fati will be after being out for so long. We're definitely lacking experienced depth.

His salary definitely wasn't worth it, and those Dembele recordings putting us in trouble with Rakuten and Konami certainly didn't help either.
