Remains to be seen how Ansu returns. But overall Id say we haven't changed much since our backline + GK is an absolute disaster and there is no sign/money of addressing those issues adequately.

Arajuo is more experienced, and he barely ever got injured before last year so hopefully an off-season and change of physio the club had will help him.
Not sure how Pedri coming from 2nd division to Euro team of the year isn't an improvement?

A lot of young players simply proved themselves in past 10 months or so and had a lot of internal growth.
Next season was always going to be dependent on that, and the only veteran we lose who contributed anything was Griezmann.

I agree with Araujo part , if he remains fit that will definitely change things. But going into the season hoping on that isn't smart (not that Barca have much choice).

That's 2 players out of how many in two formations + GK? The only other fully reliable player is FDJ.
I mean sure it's an improvement if you want to look at it that way, but long way still to go.

Busquest will be good if he has enough support from midfield around him. Look at how good he is this Euro with Pedri and Koke.

De Jong is on his prime, Pedri will be better and better (he is already a top midfielder). Only Saul is questionable but i think he will be OK.

Defense is big question though.

I doubt Messi will sulk for the first couple of months of the season this time so perhaps we'll actually build a little lead in the league as Atletico tend to start off a bit slow.

Think he'll hit the ground running to secure that #7.
