Argentinian friends started going on about carboni. Didn’t mention names you mentioned. Think ur actually better informed than them lol
I could totally be wrong tbf. Carboni is talented but needs a lot of game time and his future at club level is uncertain for now (It's been rumoured that he would also join Marseille on loan lmao)

Still a shock that he's been selected ahead of Dybala in this Copa, but I'm sure mister Scaloni has a good reason for that. Maybe Garnacho needs a friend around his age lol.

Germany's run from 1966-1990 (24 years) deserves a lot of attention:

1966: WC final (Loss)
1970: WC semi-final (lost to Italy in that epic 4-3 match)
1974: WC final (Won v Cruyff's Holland)
1978: WC KOs
1982: WC final (Loss)
1986: WC final (Loss v Maradona)
1990: WC final (Won v Maradona)

Also won 2 Euros in this time frame.
Yeah they were a relentless semi-final and final making machine.

To look to the future.

2 difficult Sept WCQ vs Chile at home and vs Colombia away is just less than 2 months and Scaloni need to select a squad fast. I’m hoping that the rejuvenation of the squad can start right away and he doesn’t call the likes of Guido, Pezzella, Otamendi, Armani and Acuna anymore.

With the WC26 having 8 games in total now assuming the team reaches the final, I expect the number of players in the squad to increase. This is the 28-player squad that I would bring for the WCQ that looks forward to the WC26 (I added the age that the players would be by the time of the WC26)

GK: E. Martinez (33), Gazzaniga (34), Rulli (34)

RB: Molina (28), Montiel (29), Quarta (30)
CB: Romero (28), L. Martinez (28), Senesi (29), Balerdi (27)
LB: Barco (21), Tagli (33)

RCM: De Paul (32), Palacios (27), Equi Fernandez (23)
DM: Enzo (25), Paredes (32), Varela (24)
LCM: MacAllister (27), Lo Celso (30), Echeverri (20)

RW: Soule (23)
CAM: Messi (39), Dybala (32)
FW: Alvarez (26), Martinez (28)
LW: Garnacho (22), Nico Gonzales (28)

--------------------------Alvarez (26)
Garnacho (22)------------------------------Dybala (32)
—-------------Enzo (25)----------Equi (23)
—-----------------------Varela (24)
Barco (21)—Lisandro (28)—Romero (28)—Molina (28)
---------------------------Dibu (33)

Just read about what they were apparently chanting, bunch of imbeciles if true. Wesley Fofana condemned it too, and the French Football Federation gonna file a complaint.

It's a bit classless (like Rodri waffling about Gibraltar), but bans would be crazy in my opinion.

This is one of those celebration parallax sort of things where if the very same facts were spoken in praise, suddenly drawing attention to them is OK.

So they said where Mbappe's father is from , where his mother is from , and the team that he plays for , and they are racists ?
