Arthur

A bargain for the quality he has shown so far.

As a Grêmio fan I am even more aware of it.

But it's almost impossible to sell a midfielder for a higher price to Europe if he was not tested in Europe yet.

Most will think he may not adapt to faster pace etc. (which I do not believe tbh, but my opinion on this did not matter)

South American clubs don't have much bargaining power nowadays. The players want to go to Europe to be tested against the best. But it is a vicious cycle. The more South American players leave for that reason, the less quality in South America and thus, the more Europe becomes the only place to be tested against the best.

Imagine if all South American players returned to South America, how strong local leagues and the Libertadores would be.

If South America teams have the money it's possible

Xavi on Arthur:

"I see myself when I see Arthur on television."

"He is a very quick thinker. He has a natural talent, but most of all, he has a lot of room to improve through training."

"Arthur is already a mature player and I see that he has massive untapped potential."

"The priority during any match is to never lose the ball and he comes out of a tricky situation with ease. He has a strong personality already."

Changing his number from 8 to 6 would just add unnecessary pressure on him to perform like Xavi.

Sign de Jong and give him #6 ;)

His through ball passing technique is seriously poor. Not nearly enough pace and precision on the ball. For now he is not the player to create something, but an excellent controller, which is not bad. With that said we struggled big time to create anything, but that was also due to Coutinho playing like a dead man.
