Even if you don't rate Arthur, one would it would be better selling him for a good profit and instead of trying to swap him with Pjanic.

Leaving way to much money on the table in that move for a guy that would what give like 1 or 2 seasons at best on significant wages.

Barca would get money on the accounts.

Both would be considered to have been paid for and press saying 60m.

Take away Arthurs amortized value from 60m and that will be taken as a profit on his sale.

Given that Barca appear to be willing to sell for 60m and no other top clubs seem to be entering the fold for such a bargain then dont think his value is currently any higher than that.

Sell for 60m. or trade him for a very good young player. Not for some 30 years old has been. And pray he doesn't become a world class player at some other European club.

If you really want to give up on the player and consider he's not Barca material that's how you do it.

Problem is that only cheap idiots from Juve are after him.
Best they can do is offer Pjanic. So it is not good thing.

Hope so PSG or City will be interested in him .

But nobody is forcing us to sell. Our midfield doesn't look that bad at all.

They are trying to sell him and guess would be willing to trade for a good young player.. more of the issue is clubs dont seem to rate Arthur enough to even pay 60m bar Juve and even then they want a trade for Pjanic and most likely 60m over valuing deal.

If Arthur was the 'nearest thing to Xavi' out there teams would be falling over themselves to try and make a deal for him.

It's simple then. If there are no buyers and no very good offers he stays.

It should be like that. But knowing Ratomeu nothing is impossible like swaping Arthur for Pjanic.

I would keep Arthur if only old Pjanic is involved in transfer.
No way that Bosnian 30 years old player is worth as 24 years old Brazilian.

I would be satisfied with 55-60 mil and then pu that money for someone like Silva.
