Arthur

It's simple then. If there are no buyers and no very good offers he stays.

Well thats why saying what club 'should do' is pointless as that market is not there for him and his value doesnt seem to be as high as some think.

60m is not even a very good offer if Arthur is the player a lot seem to make out.

Arthur will most likely stay and it is on him to start growing up off pitch, get fit and perform at level required.

It should not be a difficult midfield for him to get into.

That's some twisted logic. Many top sides wanted Semedo and yet this is not proof that Semedo is top class, because you view him as "average". But yet, somehow teams not lining up for Arthur means that you are right about him.. Can't have it both ways dude.

Btw, you're getting ahead of yourself. It's not even transfer market window yet. Clubs are in the middle of the season.

What top clubs want Semedo?

Pretty much any club wanting to pay 40-50m for him could have him but dont seem many willing to pay it.

I dont think there is a clamour for either and at a cheap price if either were even close to the players some think for Barca past couple seasons.

Been linked with Juventus, Atletico, PSG, City and Inter.

Anyway, I don't buy into these arguments normally, but you launched this line of reasoning, which is flawed and a bit hypocritical.

Linked with means next to nothing and Barca press try their best to drum up interest.

Unless they make a bid and even then 40m odd is not a high price and no sign of any great clamour for him.

I wouldnt even be surprised if top clubs if offered Pjanic or Arthur go for Pjanic... been linked to PSG, Chelsea, Barca if that is the criteria.

One thing's for sure, if they offer Pjanic for Arthur and we take it, we come off as clowns. Unless Arthur flops majorly at Juve.

You're genius, you make fun of your own arguments .

If Arthur was the 'nearest thing to Xavi' out there teams would be falling over themselves to try and make a deal for him.

Pjanic is the better player but older.

If Barca keep Vidal, Rakitic and add Pjanic it would be ridiculous and his age should probably point to a lower fee but going by market it is looking more and more like the value of Arthur and Pjanic is not as far apart as seemed previously.

It will only happen in some deal to get profit for both with little if any cash exchanged.

Sell for 60m. or trade him for a very good young player. Not for some 30 years old has been. And pray he doesn't become a world class player at some other European club.

If you really want to give up on the player and consider he's not Barca material that's how you do it.

Well said. We don't need more past it players.

if setien wants to sell him we should fire him, this will be like the thiago transfer, its not easy to find these type of players.

we are knocking on the door of being great again, why get rid of our pieces which got us to this nice stage

If Juve can give us someone like Merih Demiral I would send Arthur the other way

At this point I think he will have done well if he can be a great player for a team like Sevilla, Valencia, Everton, Roma etc in 3-4 years

Very good performance. Game just flows better with him when he plays. Thought he was the best midfielder in this game until he was subbed.
