True. But the fact that he's the best in the Brazilian league doesn't mean he's good enough for European football.

I don't think BBZ thinks it's only the league, I'm sure he doesn't in fact. But what he often points out is that you or I shouldn't make quick judgments since weaker leagues make it harder to tell.

I like that you're confident. You watch football and I hope you're right.
Well, the club does. And yeah, I watch a lot of football. Sometimes not live though but I watch many leagues. I’m lucky I have a wife that would do just about anything for me. Even watch downloaded football matches in bed. Well sometimes she reads.

There’s another young South American I’ve been following from Venezuela. Yefferson Soteldo (can play anywhere upfront), plays for Universidad in Chile, short little fuck but I think he is quite good.

I'll quote you in See I told you thread, regarding Arthur and Rakitić. To have some fun.

Are you willing to make a statement about Soteldo too?

Nah. He is very talented in my opinion but his size is very much an issue. Only 1.58 metres tall.

Regarding Arthur. I expect nothing less.

I think Arthur will be great for us as well.
He's a player that has the ideal profile we needed for awhile now.

We have several different profiled Mids but we were missing a CM that can pass the ball, Hold onto possession and distribute the ball etc someone like Xavi. We have Busi and Iniesta but Iniesta is leaving and Busi works best down deep as a DM.

It's almost impossible that he'll fail at Barcelona with that skill set. Only if he gets the most rigid of managers who would limit his fluidity.

He's been under proper pressing only few times, tbf.

The problem is: put Rakitić in this match with so much space and he'll look at least as good if not better. But, at the same time, prime Xavi wouldn't look much different either. So it's impossible to tell.

I'm really interested how this pans out.

Let's see how he'll carry himself under real, heavy pressure in midfield. His ball retention looks stellar, but the opponent are completely hapless in these vids. Either they come at him in slowmotion or pressure him one at a time, letting him brush them off easily.

Again, his skill set looks perfect, but I won't get myself carried away just yet.

I'm more worried that Valverde wouldn't allow him to roam around like that, but would put him in a fixed position more or less. His skillset is great for a fluid midfield. But Valverde's 4-4-2 is anything but that.

It's a different level, mentality and pressure that he will endure when he comes here.

He has loads of talent, but there are so many other qualities he will need to develop and adapt in order to make it here.

Internacional are Gremio's rivals and they came and parked the bus for the most part.

The ref was pretty bad apparently and missed like 4 pen calls.
